CEDA Membership

There is no doubt that CEDA’s success is rooted in the commitment of the 278 pioneering communities that comprise CEDA and in the support of CALED’s statewide economic development network.

Membership with CEDA enables the JPA to issue bonds in a particular jurisdiction as well as allows the jurisdiction to be part of an assessment district formed by CEDA. Property owners within this assessment district can then apply for energy and conservation upgrades through our PACE program.

If a city or county is not already a member of CEDA, joining CEDA is easily done via a single resolution approved by the jurisdiction. Additionally, there are no costs or financial obligations to join and retain membership within the JPA.
