CEDA issues $8 Million Tax-Exempt Loan Issued to the Native American Health Center
The Native American Health Center (NAHC) is a nonprofit organization that served the California Bay Area Native Population and the region’s other under-served populations since 1972. NAHC has worked at local, state, and federal levels to deliver medical, dental, and behavioral health resources and services for the urban Native community.
CEDA served as issuer for over $8 million in tax-exempt funding to NAHC to refinance its 2007 New Market Tax Credit financing which was used for construction and improvements on its facilities in Oakland. These facilities include a Health, Dental & Behavioral Health Clinic and a facility that will be used for administrative and clinical office space. This deal closed on October 7, 2015.
